Relatorio da experiencia de pesca ao peixe-espada-preto (Aphanopus carbo Lowe, 1839) levada a cabo pela embarcaçao "Baia dos Juncos" no Arquipelago dos Açores

This report is part of an observation work, carried out on board of a Madeiran vessel, to carry out a fishing experiment directed at Black Scabbardfish (Aphanopus carbo) in the archipelago of the Azores. This work was carried out at the request of the Regional Directorate of Fisheries of the Azores by the IMAR Center of the University of the Azores (DOP), and consisted in observing and monitoring the fishing activities, such as the fishing gear used, the fishing operations, the fishery, the effective and incidental catches, the conservation and storage of fishes and the collection of biological information.
