- Analyse the marketing channels and strategies for SSF products
- Examine the role of women and SSF organizations in fish marketing
- Indicate how technological innovations may help to improve market shares and benefits to SSF people
- Devise strategies to better differentiate SSF products from the catches coming from world markets, large-scale fisheries or aquaculture
- Make appropriate policy recommendations based on these findings
Pescatourism opportunities for small-scale fisheries in the ORs
- Diagnosis of the interactions of small-scale fishing communities in relation with tourism activities in the coastal area
- Analysis of the actual experiences and potentialities for developing fishing tourism activities involving small-scale fishers and their boats, encouraging synergies and promoting the development of the quality of the host populations involved,
- Proposals for the development of activities related to fishing communities that can be developed on land.
Governance and management requirements for the existing and future off-shore fisheries to become long-term sustainable and contributing to the CFP objectives
- The key goal of this task is to analyse the fisher organizations in all outermost regions and their functioning, as well as their role in collective action on the management of fisheries resources and the role of these fisher organizations in the fisheries governance
- Identify good practices in collective action
